Welcome to the SSP2012 Groningen

The 5th International Symposium on Symmetries in Subatomic Physics (SSP2012) will take place in Groningen (The Netherlands) from Monday June 18 through Friday June 22 2012.

The SSP conference brings together theoreticians and experimentalists working on the physics of fundamental interactions and symmetries. Over the years, the conference evolved to include emerging and challenging new frontiers of subatomic physics related to search for physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics.

The scientific program will be organized according to the topics:

1. Parity violation in atoms and nuclei
2. Time reversal and CP violation (in particular electric dipole moments)
3. Lorentz and CPT invariance
4. Antimatter
5. Symmetries in QCD
6. SUSY models
7. Neutrino properties
8. Baryon and lepton number violation
9. Symmetries in cosmology
10. Time variation of fundamental constants

The program will consist of plenary sessions of invited and contributed talks.
