    December 2003. The magnets from Danfysik and Sigma Phi arrived at KVI and the work for building the TRImP separator have started.

    December 2001. The "double separator" concept of a combined device with a fragment and gas-filled recoil operation mode were chosen. The KVI management has agreed to the "north route" concept, where the separator will be set up in the big experimental hall. A deviding concret wall will be set up. Provision will be made to allow the installation of a new general purpose beam line at KVI once more permanant installations will be put in the H-cell.

July 2001. Green light has been given by FOM to the TRImP programme with a time perspective until 2013. A midtermreview will be held. (see also FOM niews and FOM programmes [#48])
